After a design agreement is signed and paid for, we begin by reviewing your list of priorities, goals, and dreams for the project. This becomes a guide as we design your new space. We will also perform research on your existing home and required building and zoning codes.

We’ll then create floor plans of your existing home, and sketch potential layout changes to the existing plans. These concept designs will show three different price points within your desired budget, showing you what’s possible for your home. We will also create a comprehensive project evaluation outlining your project parameters. This will give a very general idea of the scope, time commitment and the cost of your project.

This is where the design gets fine-tuned, and the details and finishes start to emerge. The design evolves with a thorough review of all potential materials, colors, and fixture selections.

The design drawings grow into 3-dimensional representations of the scope of work. Interior renderings show the finished vision coming to life.

The scope of work and budget evolves to document these decisions, illustrate cost drivers and the decision history of the budget. The agreement documents are where it all comes together! Permit and construction drawings are completed. All selections are finalized and documented. We’ll schedule a trade day for our suppliers and trade partners to visit your home, review their work and provide us with final cost estimates.

At the end of this step, the work of our designers, estimator, production team and trade partners result in a plan that we all can follow and build with confidence.

The build phase starts with a pre-construction meeting, where we detail our communication, dust control and project meeting protocols.

During construction, you can expect consistent meetings with your Project Manager and craftsmen, who leave the work area clean, and regular quality inspections. Our goal is to make your project easy, with proactive updates and minimal interruptions to your life. On time and on budget!

Your project team includes your Project Manager, Project Designer and Project Coordinator who work together throughout your experience to make sure that we’re all on the same page.

The construction of your project ends with a final inspection walk-through, to ensure the quality and completion of every detail. Then it’s time to enjoy living in your new space!
